Piper
Merv resides in Cromwell NZ, and has been a member of the band since 2009 when the band travelled to Libya.
Merv previously lived in Invercargill and played in City of Invercargill Caledonian Grade 1 Pipe Band from 1971 to 2007 then joined the Waimatuku Southern Scenic Highland Pipe Band from 2008 to present. Merv became the Pipe Major of the Waimatuku band in 2012.
Tours with the band: 2026 Auckland, 2022 Edinburgh, 2019 Sydney, 2018 Crimea, 2013 Halifax Nova Scotia, 2011 Crete, 2012 Basel, 2011 Crete, 2010 Windsor, 2009 Libya.
