Graeme resides in Rangiora, NZ and has been a member of the band since 2019 when the band travelled to Edinburgh.

Graeme is a piper in McAlpines North Canterbury Pipe Band (grade 4 competition band) since 1975 and currently Pipe Major since 1987. Graeme has played with the Canterbury Caledonian Pipe Band and toured with them to the USA and Canada in 1988; played in the Christchurch Metropolitan Pipe Band tour to Australia in 1996; and Celtic Pipe Band grade 4 at the World Pipe Band championships in Glasgow Scotland 2019.
